What is hot mix asphalt?

Hot mix asphalt is a combination of approximately 95% stone, sand, or gravel that's bound together with a crude oil-based asphalt cement. To combine the materials, the asphalt cement is heated and then mixed with the aggregate at the Mount Morris facility of Spallina Materials, Inc. Our professional technicians use only the highest quality aggregate products to create our hot mix asphalt, and it comes in a variety of different grades and thicknesses to suit your paving needs.
